How to Swap

Here you can find a step by step guide on how to swap using GoatSwap

Swapping

1. Go to the Swap page on GoatSwap (make sure your wallet is connected).

1. Choose the token you want to trade (pay with) and the token you want to receive.

(If the token you're looking for is not in our default list, you can add it by entering its address in the search box, and an option to add it to the list will appear.) (In this example, BTC is being swapped for USDC.)

1. Choose the amount you want to swap and click "Swap". Above the "Swap" button, you will see how much your tokens are worth compared to each other. You can also change slippage from automatic to custom and select a transaction deadline limit by clicking settings in the upper right corner.

1. After clicking the "Swap" button, you will get a pop-up review window to confirm the details of your transaction. Once you've confirmed everything is in order, click "Confirm swap".

1. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

2. After you have confirmed the transaction in your wallet, you should see the "Swap submitted" screen when your transaction has been sent to process. To check on the progress, you can click on "View on Explorer" or view the activity link in your wallet.
